Responsibilities
- Procedural Responsibilities: Manage and administer image-guided surgery navigation systems and instrumentation to support and assist surgeons visually correlate intraoperative anatomy with perioperative CT and MRI scans.
- Coordination: Coordinate with physician offices and surgery leadership for the prior day planning of upcoming cases, including checking the availability of equipment consoles, instrumentation, and patient-related information or scans required for scheduled cases.
- Setup and Operation: Assist OR staff with the setup and clinical operation of navigation technology and any other related navigation components. Access patient information and order sets for image needs in the patients' electronic medical record.
- Communication: Review pre-operative image needs and communicate necessary information to the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate OhioHealth's values and act as an important member of the team with integrity, leadership, and excellence.
- Teamwork: Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and other hospital employees. Utilize time wisely as a team member.
- Technical Support: Monitor system performance of surgical devices in use, identify and troubleshoot issues quickly in the OR, coordinate necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with safety practices.
- Room Turnover: Assist with OR readiness through patient transportation, positioning, and room preparation, positions patients for procedures. May perform senior ORA and anesthesia tech duties as directed.
Qualifications
