NAVIGATION CENTER
About Us
The Navigation Center empowers the most vulnerable to navigate from crisis to sustainable, independent living. We take a multi-faceted, person-centered approach to helping those who are unhoused or at-risk of becoming unhoused. As a central hub, we connect individuals and families with resources tailored to their unique challenges, ensuring positive outcomes through a coalition of providers.
Our work helps unhoused and vulnerable individuals rebuild stability and inspires systemic change in addressing homelessness. Key populations we serve include:
- Families: Nearly 25% of our clients are homeless with family, with 75% being homeless at intake.
- Mothers: Over 330 clients are single mothers, including those experiencing domestic violence.
- Children: More than 900 children receive services through our programs.
- Veterans: One-third of our clients are veterans facing homelessness.
The Navigation Center is a non-governmental community resource using the U.S. federal poverty guidelines to determine eligibility. Households must qualify based on 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, and income verification is required before assistance is provided.
