What You Will Do...
- Plans, develops, assesses, and coordinates historical and cultural programs, displays, and materials;
- Represents the division in liaison capacity with tribal governments & serves as primary point of contact for tribal & native issues;
- Affords assistance with visitor services, programs, activities, and revenue generating operations for Great Council State Park;
- Coordinates & provides training to division staff & volunteers regarding cultural, tribal & native relations and the recognition and treatment of archaeological resources;
- Manages stakeholder relations, community outreach, volunteers & friends groups;
Pay & Benefits
Starting hourly pay $33.32/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $47.47/hr. There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.

Unusual Working Conditions
Requires travel. 48 mos. trg. or 48 mos. exp. in natural resources specialty (i.e., Cultural Resources/Tribal Engagement) indicated under job duties within approved position description; valid driver’s license.
