Nationwide - Field Safety Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote safe work practices across active construction projects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific safety plans.
- Conduct site safety observations, audits, and risk assessments.
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and one-on-one coaching.
- Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
- Support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Analyze safety performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with project teams, contractors, and client representatives.
Qualifications
- Five (5) years of construction safety management experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in Electric Transmission & Distribution (ET&D) or high voltage construction safety management.
- Have, or be willing to obtain, a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
- OSHA 30 (Construction) trained and current training in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and influence safe behaviors in the field.
- Ability to work in outdoor construction environments and travel or relocate as needed.
