Nationwide - Field Construction Manager
About the role
This position is an on-site field construction manager role for individuals with strong knowledge of the means and methods used in the construction of electrical substations and underground HV duct bank installation experience. Field Construction Managers are not assigned to a specific location and are expected to support projects nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Safety supervision
- Quality control/quality assurance supervision
- Daily on-site reporting
- Environmental compliance inspection
Requirements
- OSHA 30 trained or MSHA equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' experience in transmission line or substation construction
- Understanding of high and medium voltage electrical transmission/substation/distribution systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint and ftp protocol software
- Frequent travel is expected
