Nationwide - Field Construction Manager
About the role
EPC Services Company is seeking a Field Construction Manager for a temporary position. This role involves managing construction activities at electrical substations and underground HV duct bank installations.
Responsibilities
- Safety supervision
- Quality control/quality assurance supervision
- Daily on-site reporting
- Environmental compliance inspection
- Directly responsible for the actual construction of the project
- Reports to the project manager for project-specific issues
- Reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance for general installation practices and inspection processes
Requirements
- OSHA 30 trained or MSHA equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' experience in transmission line or substation construction
- Understanding of high and medium voltage electrical transmission/substation/distribution systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint and ftp protocol software
- Frequent travel is expected
Qualifications
- Not required to have a client-mandated drug test or background check
- Not required to have EPC Services Company's auto insurance carrier requirements
