- Develop and execute a multi-year east region business plan aligned with WSP’s national and global water objectives.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and clients based on strategic value and funding opportunities.
- Strategically grow our market share to fulfill our goal that WSP become the preferred, trusted advisor to our clients.
- Mentor client account managers and technical leaders to elevate client care and business development capabilities.
- Lead capture planning and proposal strategies for transformative water projects.

Operational Excellence
- Optimize the client and employee experience through regular reviews while driving process improvements.
- Collaborate with local area leaders to strategically drive the business with a focus on the key performance indicators (KPIs) of pipeline health, win ratio, sales, funding, and as-sold margin.
Expertise
- Utilize our extended reach of technical and subject matter experts (SMEs) across regions, districts, offices and the globe to foster new and innovative client delivery.
- Leverage our broad technical experience to enhance current and new service offerings and provides strategic direction and leadership of local Client Engagement Teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Planning, Business, or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience of leadership, personal accountability, persistence, and goal oriented
- Ability to innovate and re-think the conventional approach to client and employee engagement
- Sound decision-making, strategic and visionary thinking, and creative business development capabilities across a multi-disciplined practice
- Strongly established relevant client relationships and industry contacts in the local area
- Commitment to internal and external client service
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Compensation
Expected Salary: $175,500- $352,990
