About the role
Hercules LED is a national leader in commercial and industrial LED lighting upgrades, utility rebate programs, and turnkey energy efficiency solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the sales team and help drive substantial year-over-year revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop sales professionals
- Create and implement structured training and onboarding programs
- Conduct weekly one-on-one coaching sessions and performance reviews
- Lead regular role play sessions focused on prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting, discovery meetings, objection handling, proposal presentations, and closing techniques
- Evaluate sales calls, presentations, and customer interactions to identify coaching opportunities
- Develop sales processes, scripts, and best practices
- Identify skill gaps and develop training plans to improve performance
- Develop future sales leaders within the organization
- Foster a culture centered around effort, accountability, professionalism, continuous learning, and results
- Establish KPIs, activity standards, and performance expectations
- Monitor pipeline development, proposal activity, and forecasting
- Improve sales processes and team effectiveness
- Increase closing percentages and overall revenue production
- Drive accountability throughout the organization
- Ensure consistent execution of sales processes and best practices
- Support sales representatives in developing and closing major opportunities
- Expand relationships with national accounts and strategic partners
- Identify growth opportunities across multiple markets and industries
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives
- Help shape the future direction of Hercules LED and LumenForce LED
- Develop and execute sales growth strategies
- Assist with compensation planning, sales initiatives, and market expansion
- Work directly with ownership and executive leadership to achieve company goals
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience
- Proven success recruiting, hiring, training, and developing sales teams
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale organizations
- Strong coaching and leadership abilities
- Experience conducting sales training and role play exercises
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience managing performance and accountability systems
- Proven history of driving revenue growth
