National Sales Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sign profitable new business
  • Maintain and grow current customer relationships
  • Pricing proposal preparations
  • Customer service follow-up after the sale
  • Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold-calling
  • Manage accounts and grow share of business
  • Create quotations and sales proposals for company services
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain and update accurate information in the company’s operating systems

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business-minded, with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • 1-3 years of industry-related experience, preferably in freight solution sales, 3PL transportation, inside brokerage sales, expedited transportation, or logistics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required
