National Sales Manager
About the role
The National Sales Manager will work with the sales force within a branch office. This position is ideal for someone with 3 years of minimum non-asset based 3pl sales experience, a bachelor's degree, and experience in various types of freight such as Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, and LTL.
Responsibilities
- Contact new customers and secure sales using unique skills and competencies.
- Develop systems and processes for effective prospect identification, qualification, and management.
- Sell and close new shippers, build a book of business, and carry out strategies through prospect contact, proposal development, and presentation.
- Work with transportation brokers to maximize load volume from new customers through ongoing sales meetings and strategy sessions.
- Uphold the company standards following the principles of Customer, Company, Office.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's Degree, 3 years of minimum non-asset based 3pl sales experience, and experience in Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, and/or LTL freight. Excellent verbal and written skills, effective problem resolution, self-motivation, and teamwork are essential. Computer and technology literacy is also required.

Strong natural communication skills and people skills are necessary, along with a drive to learn and succeed in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
