National account development role focused on expanding Ryder’s market presence and accelerating the sales cycle by delivering highly qualified leads to the Field Sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in lead nurturing; assess leads against Ryder’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and activity level to determine when one-on-one attention is warranted.
  • Conduct one-on-one nurturing using BANT qualification criteria to decide if a lead merits assignment of a sales resource.
  • Schedule meetings between Sales-Qualified leads and Ryder Sales Representatives.
  • Educate and develop prospects on Ryder’s value proposition and service offerings.
  • Maintain high call volume to pass qualified leads to sales, set customer appointments, and generate revenue.
  • Identify customer pain points and propose Ryder solutions; discuss transportation industry topics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of successful sales experience.
  • Three or more years of prior Inside Sales experience (preferred).
  • Five or more years of prior B2B sales experience (required).
  • Ability to use technology and self-motivation to research and engage customers for future opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly with C-level customers and Ryder Sales Team.
  • Demonstrated sales aptitude: assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated, excellent closing skills.
  • Good mathematical ability and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective time and activity management; ability to work under pressure and meet monthly/yearly quotas.
  • Detail and goal-oriented; ability to prioritize work and seek knowledge in area of specialty.
  • Aptitude for acquiring selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.

Pay

Base salary of $50,000 plus commission.
