About the role
The National Development Manager (NDM) expands Ryder's market presence and shortens the sales cycle by generating and nurturing highly qualified leads for Field Sales, focusing on national accounts.
Responsibilities
- Engage in lead nurturing, assessing leads based on their match to the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and activity level to determine if they merit one-on-one attention.
- Accomplish one-on-one nurturing using BANT Lead qualification criteria to evaluate if a lead should be assigned a sales resource.
- Schedule meetings between Sales Qualified leads and Ryder Sales Representatives.
- Educate and develop prospects regarding Ryder’s Value Proposition and Services offered.
- Maintain a high call volume to pass qualified leads to sales, set customer appointments, and generate revenue.
- Recognize customer pain points and offer Ryder solutions; discuss transportation industry topics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
- Three (3) or more years of successful sales experience.
- Three (3) or more years of prior Inside Sales experience (preferred).
- Five (5) or more years of prior experience selling in a B2B environment (required).
Pay
Base salary of $50,000 plus commission.
