About the role
The National Bankruptcy Processor role at Aldridge Pite, LLP involves protecting client interests by reviewing loans for legal action and ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements. This position requires a combination of technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate PCN referrals and drafts prepared by the legal team.
- Determine correct prior and new payment amounts and notify clients of any credits required.
- Monitor and adhere to court deadlines for PCNs.
- Review and interpret client systems to ensure all necessary information is provided to local counsel.
- Maintain and update data in both firm and client systems.
- Participate in educational seminars and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing.
- Familiarity with LPS and its facets, including LPS Intercoms, Reports, and Client Directives.
- Basic understanding of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to solve issues promptly and work collaboratively with others.
