National Accounts Manager-Consumer Electronics
JOB PURPOSE
The National Accounts Manager for Consumer Electronics is a key member of the sales leadership team responsible for Consumer Electronics customers, as well as supporting other Sales Team members with Consumer Electronics opportunities within their accounts. As a key leader within the organization, this individual will partner with cross-functional teams and key business partners to develop and execute short and long-term strategies for the profitable growth of the Consumer Electronics business.
Essential Functions And Other Duties
Leading, coaching, and developing a team to realize and achieve sustainable annual business targets and profitable revenue growth
Providing oversight of strategic sales and spending direction for CE customers sales and quarterly and annual operating budgets
Responsible for the development of strategic growth plans for CE Accounts, providing alignment between customer growth strategies and FKA strategic growth objectives
Leading and overseeing the development and communication of key customer sales plans, business analytics, insights and sales execution strategies and initiatives
Accountable for setting direction and communicating quarterly execution plans and key initiatives with Account(s) buying teams
Responsible for leading self and team in analyzing key performance indicators, deployment priorities and activities along with managing and leveraging 3rd party data to drive sustainable growth plans
Leading self and team in the development of annual customer sales plans at Consumer Electronics Account(s) incorporating broader company and marketing strategies to include sales strategies and tactics toward the achievement of the annual budgets
Responsible for collaboration in the development and execution of tactical tools to support new business, product, and program introductions
Leading self and team in building, nurturing, and maintaining strong relationships within Consumer Electronics Accounts including initiating and facilitating meetings with buyers and management
Create and develop strategies to achieve targeted sales growth within budgeted parameters, building sales plans by product by retailer
Partner with retailers to oversee the execution of merchandising/visual strategy, analyze sales data, and provide support as necessary
Build and expand our retail base in the assigned channel of distribution
Possess the ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales in established and new categories
Identify and establish contacts with decision makers and leverage existing networks
Create and deliver presentations that communicate the Company’s value proposition and category relevance
Provide business solutions and feedback to management on retailers wants and needs
Partner with operations (e.g., supply chain manager, order fulfillment) to harmonize inventories at assigned retailers to ensure appropriate on-hand inventory and forecast, while adhering to established company policies, procedures, and approval processes
Track POS sales and statistics on an ongoing basis to identify market trends
Analyze and evaluate changing market conditions and competitive activity to assist management in developing short-term and long-term sales strategies and business objectives

Education And Experience
BA/BS degree or significant equivalent work experience
Minimum 7 years direct consumer electronics product sales experience to major retailers in the Mass, Wholesale Club, Dot com, Home Specialty, or Hardware Channels of Distribution; direct Consumer Electronics experience preferred
Sales forecasting and budgeting experience
Experience with Direct Import programs a plus
