Remote role with regular travel to customers in the Bentonville, AR region and occasional travel to the Louisiana office. Position Summary We are seeking a highly driven and commercially minded National Accounts Manager to own and grow strategic partnerships across major retail accounts and alternate channels. This role is responsible for building customer relationships, developing account strategies, identifying new growth opportunities, and delivering profitable revenue expansion in a fast-paced consumer products environment. The ideal candidate understands the dynamics of large national retail accounts, has experience driving category growth and distribution gains, and is comfortable working cross-functionally to execute customer plans that produce measurable results. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary business lead for key national retail customers and designated alternate channels.Build and execute annual customer plans aligned with company growth goals.Develop strong relationships with buyers, category teams, replenishment partners, and other customer stakeholders.Lead line reviews, assortment planning, business reviews, and customer presentations.Identify opportunities for new items, shelf expansion, distribution gains, and incremental volume.Deliver annual sales, margin, distribution, and market share goals.Analyze sales performance, category trends, and syndicated data to uncover growth opportunities.Develop promotional plans that support revenue growth while maintaining healthy trade spend.Partner with internal teams to manage pricing, forecasting, deductions, and promotional execution.Monitor competitive activity and recommend strategies to strengthen performance.Work with supply chain and replenishment partners to support in-stock performance and forecast accuracy.Support digital and omnichannel initiatives tied to major retail partners.Manage scorecards and performance metrics for assigned accounts.Coordinate item launches and help ensure strong in-store and online execution.Use customer reporting tools and analytics platforms to support fact-based selling.Identify and grow opportunities in club, mass merchandise, value, military, regional retail, e-commerce, and other emerging channels.Create channel-specific strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and brand presence.Build relationships with brokers, distributors, and retail partners to expand market reach.Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and R&D to support customer needs and company initiatives.Share customer and market insights that inform product development, packaging, merchandising, and promotional strategy.Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.Balance customer priorities with company goals and profitability targets. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.5+ years of CPG sales experience managing national retail, mass merchandising, or club accounts.Proven success driving revenue growth and meeting sales objectives.Experience leading customer presentations, business planning, and line reviews.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and category data.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and customer reporting tools. Preferred Experience in food, grocery, seasoning, meal solutions, or related consumer products categories.Familiarity with customer analytics platforms and retail reporting systems.Experience working with brokers and cross-functional account teams.Knowledge of club, mass retail, value, military, and e-commerce channels.
