About the Role
Join our team as a National Accounts Manager and assume a pivotal role in propelling premium growth and enhancing customer retention for accounts exceeding 5,000 lives. Your proactive identification and pursuit of opportunities, coupled with your strategic and consultative partnership, will be instrumental in driving revenue and sustaining profitable relationships. In this dynamic position, you'll oversee renewal strategies, analyze customer data and claim trends, and collaborate across various divisions, including Sales, Underwriting, Benefits, and Consulting, to deliver tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead renewal strategies and analyze customer data and claim trends.
- Collaborate across divisions to deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage customer metrics.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to expand your account block.
- Act as a subject matter expert on tools, resources, and inforce capabilities.
- Ensure optimal customer experiences by leveraging expertise in absence management, statutory regulations, and claims.
- Bring in the right resources at the right time to set yourself apart.
- Own customer relationships throughout their entire lifecycle, leading renewals, analyzing pricing and claim trends, and delivering tailored solutions that meet service expectations.
- Collaborate with internal partners to enhance claims service, improve results, and boost satisfaction and retention.
- Stewardship presentations and clear reporting to empower customers and consultants to make informed decisions.
- Manage the logistics for impactful sales and customer presentations.
- Keep internal customer documentation up to date.
- Foster strong business relationships at every organizational level.
Requirements
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience: Requires 5+ years’ of demonstrated relationship management experience in the group insurance, benefits field.
- Professional Licensure/Certification: FLMI, CPDM, and/or CEBS preferred. Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the office’s assigned territory.
- Travel: Eligible for fully remote work (other than for in-person meetings or other periodic business trips).

Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance. The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data. Salary Range: Base salary range $110k - $130k depending on experience + incentive plan Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
