About the role
Your Job Step into a high-impact sales leadership role with Georgia-Pacific Packaging, where you will help shape the future of our national corrugated box business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a portfolio of national accounts and major corrugated end users across multiple markets.
- Achieve year-over-year growth in volume and margin by positioning Georgia-Pacific as a preferred supplier.
- Develop strategic account plans that deepen customer relationships and expand share of wallet.
- Deliver creative, value-added solutions, including advanced graphics and digital print offerings, that enhance customer performance and brand presence.
- Identify new business opportunities through deep understanding of customer operations, supply chain needs, and market trends.
- Apply a consultative, problem-solving sales approach to guide customers through packaging optimization, total cost reduction, and supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain accurate customer pipelines and activity data within Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar platforms.
- Leverage Microsoft 365 tools to streamline communication, planning, and customer engagement.
- Stay current with market dynamics, emerging technologies, and competitive trends in the corrugated packaging industry.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in corrugated box manufacturing, with a strong background in outside sales, strategic account management, or commercial leadership.
- Demonstrated success growing revenue, expanding margins, and building long-term customer partnerships.
- Ability to travel extensively as needed to support customer relationships and business growth, typically ranging from 50–75% domestically.
Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of corrugated converting, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
- Experience selling complex B2B solutions or working through distribution channels.
- Completion of advanced sales process training (Franklin Covey, Challenger, Miller Heiman, Carew, or equivalent).
- Mastery of CRM systems for pipeline discipline and customer strategy development.
- Experience applying Strategic Account Planning frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

Pay
$150,000 - $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
Schedule
This role offers the flexibility of a home-based work environment, with regular travel to customer sites expected.
