About the role
The National Account Manager at Vetsource is responsible for maintaining, growing, and expanding relationships with key customer groups, including corporate veterinary groups, multi-site locations, franchises, Group Purchasing Organizations, and membership associations. This role involves executing high-level communication and collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to achieve sales quotas and strategic objectives with assigned clients.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain business relationships with key decision makers and act as a primary point of contact to achieve sales quotas and strategic objectives with assigned customers, prioritizing proactive partners as defined and updated in our strategy as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts at major manufacturer partners.
- Proactively explore strategies and tactics to further integrate with the customers and leverage the full suite of Vetsource solutions.
- Represent Vetsource in a professional manner that results in a positive customer experience.
- Regularly meet with customers to ensure needs are being met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships with internal partners to ensure positive partner experiences and successful delivery of client products/services, including the coordination of key manufacturer meetings requesting Category Management support as needed.
- Remain up to date on industry trends to strategize with partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience/training.
- 5+ years of experience in direct B2B sales within the animal health industry or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with veterinary groups and manufacturers.
- Demonstrated success in building, managing, and strengthening long-term customer and partner relationships.
- Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipelines, track account activity, and generate insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience/training.

Pay
Pay range (US based applicants): $88,102 - $105,000 (annualized) + $30,000 variable compensation target
