About the role
The role is highly visible and involves maximizing sales, developing relationships with key stakeholders, assisting in marketing and promotional programs, and collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Drive Amazon year-over-year growth using marketing tools, competitive analysis, meta-data, and merchandising vehicles.
- Analyze sales data using Power BI, Circana Vendor Central, and Salesforce to identify areas for improvement.
- Improve meta-data, A+ content, and SEO strategies to enhance product visibility.
- Explore opportunities with AMS advertising, coupons, and other promotional methods to boost growth and brand recognition.
- Manage Amazon operations, including inventory, forecasting, and relationships with Amazon EIS and ESS teams.
- Collaborate with internal inventory and operations teams to build strong partnerships and enhance the company's profile on the Amazon platform.
- Participate actively in meetings and provide insights on the Amazon business to sales managers and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with marketing to support and analyze AMS campaigns and brainstorm ideas to maximize frontlist opportunities.
- Work with editorial teams to develop product lists that perform well in the online market.
- Report on Amazon business trends and opportunities during acquisitions meetings, sales reviews, and other relevant meetings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Amazon-related inquiries, issues, and opportunities within the trade team and across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven sales leadership with at least 3 years' experience managing a major national account, preferably Amazon.
- Strong sales background in trade publishing.
- Self-starter who can manage workload efficiently and demonstrate good follow-up and follow-through.
- Ability to drive change and innovation by improving work products and processes, challenging established norms when necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, capable of interacting with colleagues at all levels and with external accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and Vendor Central, with strong analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of national account management experience.

Pay
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually.
