NAT Product Owner
Gray Analytics is seeking a Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner (PO) who will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).
About the role
The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the network application development and updates/patches for the Network Application Team (NAT). The position includes reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and providing guidance to the development team. The PO will support the team in developing acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and be responsible for their verification.
The product owner will work with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network and collaborate with Program management to set priorities for capabilities and defects for each product increment and sprint. The role involves technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership, as well as reporting on status, recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
- Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
- Must have a good understanding of networking to include IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, networking device configuration, and network status monitoring.
- Must have a broad understanding of SNMPv3.
- Must be able to work directly with Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.
- Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
- Ability to champion ideas, architectures, designs, and enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude.
- Experience in JIRA/Confluence is a plus.
- Security+ and Linux experience.
- Agilist certification.
