Responsibilities
- Provides first-level oversight of Bizzell's SFOF support group.
- Serves as the primary point for scheduling 16.5 KV distribution coordination, preventative maintenance, and outages.
- Responsible for the reliability, maintainability, oversight, and compliance of complex electrical infrastructure.
- Onboards and trains all existing and new staff.
- Completes annual reviews and revisions of SFOF local operating procedures.
- Represents the Bizzell SFOF group at necessary meetings with JPL personnel.
- Ensures timely preventive maintenance and repairs for the SFOF and SFOF Support buildings.
- Manages SFOF nonconformance reports, root cause failure analysis, near misses, and corrective action requests.
- Coordinates additional staffing/resource requirements during non-core hours.
- Communicates system events to the SFOF supervisor regarding building conditions.
- Works with the M&O group to provide vendor quotes and information on ordering material.
- Performs field updates to Bizzell Management and JPL key customers.
Requirements
- Related certification from an accredited institution or technical trade school.
- Experience managing Medium and High Voltage Power Distribution.
- Experience developing MOP and/or Switching Order development.
- Knowledge of operation, maintenance practices, procedures, work methods, materials, equipment, and tools.
- Computer operations and applications pertinent to their field (CMMS, Microsoft applications, and email).
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Valid CA driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
