NASA JPL Space Flight Operations Facility (SFOF) Manager

Responsibilities

• Provides first-level oversight of Bizzell's SFOF support group.
• Serves as the primary point for scheduling 16.5 KV distribution coordination, preventative maintenance, and outages.
• Responsible for the reliability, maintainability, oversight, and compliance of complex electrical infrastructure.
• Onboards and trains all existing and new staff.
• Completes annual reviews and revisions of SFOF local operating procedures.
• Represents the Bizzell SFOF group at necessary meetings with JPL personnel.
• Ensures timely preventive maintenance and repairs for the SFOF and SFOF Support buildings.
• Manages SFOF nonconformance reports, root cause failure analysis, near misses, and corrective action requests.
• Coordinates additional staffing/resource requirements during non-core hours.
• Communicates system events to the SFOF supervisor regarding building conditions.
• Works with the M&O group to provide vendor quotes and information on ordering material.
• Performs field updates to Bizzell Management and JPL key customers.

Requirements

• Related certification from an accredited institution or technical trade school.
• Experience managing Medium and High Voltage Power Distribution.
• Experience developing MOP and/or Switching Order development.
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance practices, procedures, work methods, materials, equipment, and tools.
• Computer operations and applications pertinent to their field (CMMS, Microsoft applications, and email).
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.
