This position requires working onsite at our client's location in San Francisco, CA.*Location: San Francisco. We're seeking candidates who live in San Francisco or Marin County to ensure a manageable commute and reliable arrival times. The unpredictability of bridge traffic from the East Bay makes those commutes challenging for this role's schedule.JOB DESCRIPTIONConcentric Professional Staffing places exceptional household professionals with private families. We are partnering with a warm, busy San Francisco family to find a career nanny for their two young children, a toddler and a preschooler. This is a role for a nanny who takes pride in the profession: someone who brings structure, warmth, and developmental expertise to early childhood, and who thrives with a family that holds high standards. You'll be a true partner to the parents, with meaningful ownership of the children's routines, growth, and day-to-day care. RESPONSIBILITIESProvide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for a toddler and a preschooler, including naps, meals, bath, and bedtime routinesPlan enriching days built around language, play-based learning, outings, and social developmentPartner with the parents on routines, milestones, sleep, and behavior, and keep them informed with clear, thoughtful communicationManage the children's world: prepare meals and snacks, keep their laundry, rooms, and supplies organized and stocked, and pack for activitiesDrive the children safely to preschool, classes, playdates, and appointmentsTravel up to 20% with the family, adapting routines to keep the children settled on the roadCoordinate smoothly with the broader household team where applicableREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of professional nanny experience A track record of long-term placements (2+ years each) with private families, with strong references from past employersExperience with high-net-worth or high-profile families, and a natural sense of discretion Current CPR and first aid certification (infant and child) A valid driver's license and clean driving recordDeep knowledge of early childhood development, safe sleep, and home safetyCalm, confident, and flexible under pressure, with excellent communication and organizationComfortable traveling up to 20% with the family, including overnightsMust be able to legally work in the U.S. without visa sponsorshipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEarly childhood education, Montessori, RIE, or Newborn Care Specialist training Experience working alongside household staff or security teams Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Cantonese is a plusCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSConcentric covers 100% of the premiums for medical, dental and vision plans for employee and dependent coverage.
