Nanny

About the role

Working parents on the Upper East Side need to hire a part-time, live-out Family Assistant/Nanny to care for their home and provide support to their full-time Nanny.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Household organization
• Household errands
• Returning/receiving packages
• Keeping the household schedule running smoothly
• Strong back-up and team player with the current Nanny in providing attentive, safety-focused care
• Engaging the children in enriching activities
• Taking part in monitoring developmental milestones

Qualifications

• Prior infant and toddler experience
• Comfortable caring for infants and toddlers at the same time if needed
• Ability to work collaboratively with other household staff
• Occasional travel with the family, especially during the summer, preferred

Pay

$38-45/hr. DOE

Schedule

Monday to Friday, working 30-35 hours between 10:00 AM–4:30 PM, depending on the family's needs
