Nanny

About the Role

A warm, dependable, long-term nanny is sought to join a family with four children (ages 2, 5, 8, and 10). The family values their close-knit faith community and hopes to welcome someone who shares their Catholic faith and is looking for a family to grow with for years to come.

At least one week of paid overlap with the current nanny is included for training on household routines, children’s schedules, and family systems. The first week will focus on easing the transition for both the children and the new nanny.

Schedule

• Approximately 30-40 hours per week
• Early mornings and later evenings required several days a week (parental commute begins soon)
• Exact days and hours to be finalized with the right candidate
• Start date: Week of August 17th

Responsibilities

• Morning routine: waking, dressing, feeding, and preparing children for the day
• School drop-off and pick-up as needed
• Meal and snack preparation for the children
• Homework help and supervising afternoon activities
• Light tidying related to the children (dishes, laundry, toys)
• Evening routine: baths, dinner, and bedtime
• Helping children learn to care for the family’s new cockapoo puppy

Requirements

• Practicing Catholic who shares the family’s faith and values
• Genuine love for children and desire for a long-term commitment
• Patient, kind, and steady with the ability to care for children across a wide age range
• Reliable, communicative, and comfortable managing a busy household
• Puppy or pet-care experience is a plus
