Nanny

About the role

We’re seeking a dependable, warmhearted nanny to join our family in Sandy Springs, Atlanta, GA. The role involves caring for a 4‑year‑old daughter and a 7‑year‑old son with Level 3 autism (nonverbal, loving, non‑violent). You’ll get to know each child as an individual, support their communication, create a calm and loving environment, and help them build age‑appropriate English and math skills through conversation, reading, play, and everyday activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, hands‑on care for both children, prioritizing safety.
• Maintain a calm, loving environment with consistent routines and engaging activities.
• Learn and support your son’s communication methods with patience and respect.
• Help both children develop age‑appropriate English and math skills through conversation, reading, play, and daily activities.
• Keep parents informed about the children’s day, progress, and any needs.

Requirements

• Empathetic, loving, dependable (always on time), and protective of the children.
• Ability to stay attentive, respond calmly to challenges, and take childcare responsibilities seriously.
• Experience caring for autistic children is strongly preferred.
• Experience teaching young children English and math is a plus.
• Willingness to learn the family’s routines and work closely with parents.

Pay

$25 per hour

Schedule

Approximately 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Core schedule:
Monday: 9 am‑6 pm
Tuesday: 9 am‑6 pm
Wednesday: 7 am‑7 pm
Thursday: 9 am‑7 pm
Friday: 9 am‑7 pm
