About the role

As a Named Account Executive at Salesforce, you will generate new business in existing accounts and new markets, driving strategic, enterprise-wide xRM, analytics, and application platform initiatives. You will develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting, build key customer stakeholder relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction at assigned accounts. Additionally, you will assist with long-term account strategy, coordinate internal resources to meet customer needs, and align with other sales teams to ensure strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
  • Build and maintain key customer stakeholder relationships to drive satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing and executing long-term account strategies aligned with customer business objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet customer business needs.
  • Collaborate with other sales resources (e.g., Salesforce Core AE’s, Prime AE’s, Cloud AE’s) to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Share the value proposition of Salesforce solutions with existing and new customers.
  • Drive growth within assigned accounts as a trusted advisor.
  • Consult with customers on the Salesforce Platform to help them achieve business goals.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience).
  • 10+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales, account management, and Enterprise-level sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Focus on selling into Government System Integrators.
  • Strong preference for candidates living in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.

Pay

In the United States, compensation is determined by factors such as location, job level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The typical base salary range for this position is:

  • $141,550 - $189,350 annually (general range).
  • $155,700 - $208,300 annually for roles in California, New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC.

The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits.
