About the Role
Yellowstone Club's Spa department is seeking a Nail Technician for the upcoming Winter season (November – April). The Nail Technician provides professional nail care services and recommends individualized hair, barber, and spa treatments for Members and guests of Yellowstone Club.
Responsibilities
- Ensure outstanding service in a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining service standards, and demonstrating product knowledge.
- Guarantee total Member satisfaction while displaying hospitality and professionalism at all times.
- Handle all transactions legally and ethically.
- Apply property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment; report accidents or emergencies immediately.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members to foster a collaborative environment.
- Review and make nail care recommendations to Members and guests.
- Provide nail care treatments such as manicures, pedicures, or gel nails.
- Greet and treat Members and guests professionally and courteously.
- Check and replenish supplies at the beginning of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and sanitize tools (e.g., nail clippers, cuticle pushers).
- Demonstrate and sell nail care products and other spa treatments.
- Stay current on industry news and trends.
- Perform duties in a timely manner according to Club policies and standards.
- Meet productivity, organization, punctuality, and consistency standards.
- Maintain a clean, neat appearance and a respectful attitude toward Members, guests, and coworkers.
- Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management.
- Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club at all times.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in a similar environment.
- Valid Montana Nail Technician license.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Ability to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, and coworkers.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform basic computer tasks and willingness to train on spa, salon, and fitness software.
Work Environment
The role is primarily performed in a climate-controlled environment, but may require working outside in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind, snow).
Physical Demands
- Constantly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Constantly required to use vision to assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.
