Nail Technician - Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Clinic

About the role

This role supports 4 podiatrists by providing routine and medically necessary foot and nail care for a high-risk patient population. The position is essential to maintaining clinic flow and improving access to care.

Responsibilities

• Provides nail care services in the ambulatory setting under the direct supervision of licensed clinical professionals while maintaining all infection control and nail standards.
• Prepares patient treatment areas for use; prepares and cleans medical equipment; disposes of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy.
• Cleans and maintains patient care area(s) or treatment rooms.
• Maintains stock levels of medical inventory and restocks or reorders as needed.
• Identifies opportunities to improve patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail and cosmetology experience is preferred.
• Nail licensure with the Board of Cosmetology in the state(s) of practice is required.

Pay

$15.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Part-time and full-time schedules available.
