About the Role
A Nail Technician at Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa is responsible for delivering exceptional nail and hair services while upholding the resort’s commitment to wellness, mindfulness, and authentic connections.
Responsibilities
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Adhere to all Miraval and Hyatt policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and restocking of equipment, stations, linens, and products before, during, and after shifts.
- Perform consecutive services within a pre-determined timeframe.
- Sell retail products associated with treatments and achieve monthly sales goals.
- Actively participate in protocol training, product training, operations training, and department meetings.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Arizona Nail Technician License (required). If relocating to Arizona with a valid license from another state, reimbursement of license transfer fees may be considered for the ideal candidate.
- Excellent communication skills that inspire connection with guests and colleagues.
- Passion for service and high level of personal and professional integrity.
- Confident technical skills and strong educational background, with the ability to adjust techniques based on intake assessments, treatment indicators, and contraindications.
- Exceptional teamwork and a positive attitude in a fast-paced spa environment.
- Solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and adherence to work schedules.
- High standard of tidiness and sanitation awareness.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to provide a specific list of Miraval brand standard treatment protocols and modalities.
