Nail Technician | Full-Time and Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments and color choices based on color theory principles
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly disinfecting tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly atmosphere, addressing client needs, and upselling additional services or retail products such as nail care essentials or skincare items
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail techniques, products, and industry innovations like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments
• Assist with retail sales by promoting products that enhance nail health or complement beauty routines while demonstrating effective retail math skills
• Support the team with additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, or barbering when needed to enhance client satisfaction

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license or relevant certification with training in nail care and related beauty services
• Strong knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting flattering shades and designs
• Proven experience in performing various nail treatments including gel, acrylics, and intricate nail art
• Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively and understand their preferences
• Commitment to sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment at all times
• Knowledge of additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing exceptional customer service
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay

$23.70 - $28.55 per hour
