The Nail Technician provides quality, professional services to guests and uses professional skills to meet the individual needs of each guest serviced. Ability to prescribe the appropriate regimen of nail products and services for each guest.

The AAA Four Diamond-rated Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a dynamic hub and landmark in the heart of the bustling Seaport District, with easy access to South Station, the harbor, and Logan International Airport (BOS). The property features 1,054 well-appointed rooms, many with floor-to-ceiling city and harbor views, seven distinct dining experiences, a luxe day spa, a year-round heated rooftop pool and hot tub, and over 100,000 square feet of flexible function space hosting major meetings and conferences daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.
• Begin and end treatments at the published time and ensure correct procedures of all treatments are always followed.
• Ensure all equipment and lines are fully stocked on a day-to-day basis in your treatment room.
• Set up the nail stations and pedicure thrones according to procedures and dispose of laundry on a timely basis.
• Ensure all inventory levels are accurate so that you are prepared for your day.
• Relay with confidence product and service benefits to clients.
• Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
• Perform any other duties required by management.

Qualifications

• Must possess current State Cosmetology License.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging, and personalized service.
• Must meet standards of appearance and always maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
• Must possess the ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations.
• Ability to always maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $14.47 plus commission.
