Job Summary

The Northeastern State University College of Extended Learning seeks a full-time assistant teacher for Little Rowdy Child Care Center on the Broken Arrow campus of NSU. Little Rowdy Child care is a NAEYC accredited, DHS licensed child care center open to the public Monday to Friday 7-6.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting the teacher in ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education for all children within the center’s care.
• Help oversee and support the work of fellow teachers, interns, and student workers.
• Positive relationships with the families, community, staff, and faculty will be cultivated.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience Working In a Child Care Center Is Required.
• CDA, is preferred.
• CPR/1st Aid and ELCCT must be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
• Must clear full background and fingerprints prior to beginning position.
• Must be available during child care center hours.

Pay

Annual salary $26,832.00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time.
