Brief Description
A typical day might include receiving, storing, dating, and rotating items at the loading dock, assisting in organizing food and dry goods, ensuring compliance with OSHA and Health Department standards, maintaining organized storage areas, performing weekly inventory checks, and identifying and returning subpar, damaged, or incorrect products.
Requirements
- 1 year general maintenance experience is required
- Must have general reading and math skills
- Ability to read and understand invoices accurately
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Neat and professional appearance
- Effective communication skills
- Teamwork with other staff members
Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours
May be required to lift or move up to 75 lbs using proper lifting techniques and withstand long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Will be required to kneel, push, and pull items as necessary. Non-typical hours will be customary including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
