Mystique - Lounge Server

About the role

A typical day as a Lounge Server includes:

• Greeting arriving guests with a welcoming smile and providing fast, friendly beverage service
• Accurately taking food and drink orders, communicating them to the bartender, and assisting with drink preparation before presenting to guests
• Monitoring guest alcohol consumption and intervening when needed according to guidelines
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group Restaurants and Venues in a positive and professional manner
• Collaborating with cocktail servers, bartenders, bar backs, and management
• Remembering and using guests’ names appropriately to build loyalty
• Resolving service problems with empathy and according to guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and stocked work area
• Performing other assigned duties

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant or cocktail serving experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment
• TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification required
• Must pass Big Night Entertainment Group’s legal background check
• Ability to complete the process for the Massachusetts State Gaming Commission license prior to starting
• Neat and professional appearance
• Effective and accurate communication with customers, the public, and co-workers
• Demonstrated teamwork with other staff members
• Ability to accurately count money and provide change
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor to build guest loyalty
• Excellent memory and multitasking ability

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• May be required to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Must withstand long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Non-typical office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
