About the role

Mono-Woodbury Central School District seeks an Elementary Health Teacher to replace a leave. This position will be at Smith Clove Elementary and Middle School.

Responsibilities

• Teach health education to students in grades K-8
• Implement a comprehensive health curriculum aligned with state standards
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning
• Track student progress and communicate with parents regularly
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support student growth

Requirements

• NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education B-2 or Childhood Education 1-6
• NYSED Fingerprinting requirements met

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school organization, goals, and objectives
• Understanding of the teaching and learning process
• Experience with various assessment tools
• Ability to work with diverse student populations
• Desire to grow professionally
