Music Therapist Pool

Provide music-therapy services in a school setting as the primary teacher for student groups during 25–50-minute sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ emotional, physical, social, communication, and cognitive skills through musical responses.
• Design and deliver tailored music interventions using techniques such as improvisation and song writing.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, evaluation, and follow-up activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) credential.
• Strong behavior-management skills.
• Basic understanding of special-education populations (EBD, Autism, DCD, LD).
• Ability to engage children with diverse learning styles.
• Effective collaboration with educators and administrators.
• Unofficial transcripts accepted initially; official transcripts required within 30 days of hire.
• Mandatory background checks and reference verification.

• Salary range: $48,015 – $109,398.
