Responsibilities
- Implement music therapy programs to address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of patients to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, express feelings, enhance memory, and improve communication.
- Serve as a resource person and guide, providing musical experiences that aid in patient care.
- Design and conduct music sessions for individuals and groups, tailored to client needs.
- Coordinate therapy with other team members and share responses to music therapy interventions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Board Certified Music Therapist
- 2 years' experience preferred
- Pediatric Care - 1 year or more
- Behavioral/Mental Health - 1 year or more
Qualifications
- Experience in implementing music therapy programs
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of music therapy techniques and their applications
