Responsibilities

• Implement music therapy programs to address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of patients to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, express feelings, enhance memory, and improve communication.
• Serve as a resource person and guide, providing musical experiences that aid in patient care.
• Design and conduct music sessions for individuals and groups, tailored to client needs.
• Coordinate therapy with other team members and share responses to music therapy interventions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Board Certified Music Therapist
• 2 years' experience preferred
• Pediatric Care - 1 year or more
• Behavioral/Mental Health - 1 year or more

Qualifications

• Experience in implementing music therapy programs
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of music therapy techniques and their applications
