ViaQuest Community Solutions (VCS) is seeking passionate Board Certified Music Therapists (MT-BC) to join one of Indiana's most respected interdisciplinary therapy teams. Whether you're an experienced clinician or a newly certified therapist ready to begin your career, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
What You'll Do
- Provide individualized music therapy services in home and community settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and other providers
- Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans
- Utilize a strengths-based clinical approach
- Sustain music therapy sessions that promote neurological functioning, improve communication between the brain and body, and encourage purposeful movement
- Support growth in:
- Communication
- Social interaction
- Emotional regulation
- Coping skills
- Motor development
- Cognitive functioning
- Attention and focus
- Body awareness and coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate as an active member of each individual's support team
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Music Therapy
- Board Certification (MT-BC)
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance
- Willingness to travel throughout your assigned service area
- PREFERRED:
- Experience providing Medicaid Waiver services
- Experience with Neurologic Music Therapy
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Where You'll Work
- Home and community-based services throughout Indiana
- Hybrid opportunities available in Muncie and Lafayette, combining community visits with facility-based sessions
- Referrals assigned as close to your home as possible
- Travel within your assigned service area
