About the role
Gymboree Play & Music of Southlake is seeking a part-time Early Childhood Music Instructor.
Responsibilities
- Nurture emerging musical expression in young children through a focus on key “Musical Building Blocks” and the exploration of 16 different musical styles.
- Caregivers attend all classes with their children as they explore unique songs, play instruments and musical games.
- Lesson plans and training are provided.
- Instructors are expected to have a pleasant and tuneful singing voice, love of singing, music making and teaching, group facilitation skills, experience working with young children (a plus), ability to learn songs by ear or through music notation, and a playful and energetic teaching style.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children (a plus).
- Ability to learn songs by ear or through music notation.
- A playful and energetic teaching style.
- Retail experience (a plus).
