Music Instructor - After School

About the role

The Music Instructor will lead weekly music classes for students in grades K-5, focusing on developing foundational musical skills and fostering a love for music.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute weekly music lessons for students in grades K-5
• Provide individual and group instruction in various musical instruments and vocal techniques
• Collaborate with other educators to develop comprehensive music programs
• Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment for all students

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field
• Experience teaching music to children
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)

Skills

• Excellent teaching abilities
• Knowledge of music theory and history
• Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs

Pay
