Museum Security Guard – Swing

As a Concierge Security Ambassador, equally important are your strong observation skills and attention to detail. The combination of these traits will ensure your success in creating a safe and secure, but welcoming environment. Site Location: Greater Los Angeles Area, California.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide a welcoming and professional presence across the venue
• Assist with directions, general inquiries, and visitor support
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats and coordinate emergency teams
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and protect property and exhibits
• Control ingress and egress for both guests and employees
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Collaborate with site management and the security team to ensure site safety

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Customer service experience not required but welcomed (hospitality, hotel, corporate lobby, theme park, or similar. We want you!)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Maintain Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $21/hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Schedule

Full Time and Part Time Swing Shift; shift details will be discussed during the interview process.
