Municipal Defense Litigation Attorney

Job Details

• We are currently seeking Defense Attorneys with experience representing clients in general liability claims involving premises, roadway, and transportation-related incidents (including vehicles such as buses, police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances).
• Also seeking attorneys experienced representing municipalities in employment defense litigation, including claims involving sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation under Title VII, ADEA, and the ADA.

Qualifications

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Admission to the New York State Bar
• 2+ years of experience in municipal law, government defense, or related insurance defense litigation
• Additional Relevant Experience: general liability, medical malpractice, slip and fall, premises liability, labor law, MVA, and construction defect.
• Strong litigation background, including motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

• Base Salary: $150k - $200k commensurate w/ experience
