About the role
The Municipal Court Prosecutor is responsible for representing the city in court proceedings, ensuring fair trials, and advocating for the rights of the city.
Responsibilities
- Represent the city in municipal court cases
- Prepare and present legal arguments in court
- Advocate for the interests of the city
- Manage case files and schedules
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Bar membership in good standing
- At least 3 years of relevant legal experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong litigation skills
- Knowledge of municipal court procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
