About the role

The Municipal Court Prosecutor is responsible for representing the city in court proceedings, ensuring fair trials, and advocating for the rights of the city.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the city in municipal court cases
  • Prepare and present legal arguments in court
  • Advocate for the interests of the city
  • Manage case files and schedules
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Bar membership in good standing
  • At least 3 years of relevant legal experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

  • Strong litigation skills
  • Knowledge of municipal court procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
