Responsibilities

• Promote Equity Residential's brand to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue, delivering a remarkable customer experience.
• Coordinate in-person onsite presence at assigned properties based on business needs and occupancy/revenue goals.
• Proactively manage leads and customer experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Complete CRM tasks within the appropriate time frame.
• Promote communities based on prospective resident's needs and manage tour schedules.
• Inspect the community and tour path daily.
• Employ effective selling techniques to close sales and cross-sell within assigned and sister communities.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of all aspects of the community and support marketing efforts.
• Monitor community trends to prepare for future occupancy needs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Leasing Consultants.
• Assist residents with payment and account ledger inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with the service and office team, as well as residents.
• Maintain market and community knowledge.
• Coordinate and support resident events, which may occur during evenings and weekends.
• Prepare and assist with all leasing documents accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with postings and notifications to residents when assigned.
• Verify all scheduled move-in files are complete.
• Complete all required training in a timely manner.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local fair housing laws, landlord/tenant laws, and regulations.
• Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements

• Sales and Customer Service experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a motorized vehicle.
• Computer literacy and effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Use of a personal Smartphone with updated software, password-protected, and compliant with in-house security systems.
• Ability to use a computer effectively and read written communications.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 15 pounds for the dissemination of documents and supplies.
• May be required to climb stairs depending on the property structure.

Pay

Salary: $23.51 - $28.73 per hour. Employees are eligible for overtime pay and performance incentives. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
