About the role
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boise State University invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. One position is open rank, and the second will be filled at the assistant professor rank. We seek candidates with a passion for research, teaching, mentoring, and community engagement.

- Collaborate on interdisciplinary research initiatives
Requirements
- A PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, is required for all ranks.
- Assistant Professor: PhD by the time of appointment.
- Associate Professor: In addition to the PhD, the equivalent of at least five full years of service as an Assistant Professor at an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Full Professor: In addition to the PhD, the equivalent of at least five full years of service as an Associate Professor at an accredited institution of higher learning.
Qualifications
- Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following areas: Controls, Electromagnetics, Signal Processing, Power, Communications, Circuits.

Pay
- The annual salary for this position starts at $110,000 for a 9-month assistant professor.
- Salaries for associate and full professors are commensurate with the level of experience.
- Startup packages are tailored to experience and anticipated research needs.
- Reduced course loads are offered based on scholarly activity.
