Multiple Instruments instructor needed in White Plains, MD

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors for multiple instruments. We do not have a physical studio in the White Plains, MD area, but we serve students in the area through in-person lessons or via webcam.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple instruments to students in their homes, your home, or your studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office about scheduling and any issues that arise.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and passionate about teaching music.
• Must have one of the following qualifications:
• A degree in music.
• Enrollment in a music program.
• Professional performing experience.
• Previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to teach via webcam if necessary.
• Must be comfortable with social distancing and wearing a mask during lessons.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage lesson plans independently.

Pay

You will be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour, depending on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.

Schedule

You have the flexibility to set your own schedule and lesson times.
