About the role
The practice of radiography is performed by health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A multimodality technologist performs radiographic and CT Scan procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a working knowledge of all radiographic and CT Scan equipment within the department.
- Prepares and positions patient for CT and X-Ray procedures according to the procedure manual.
- Adjusts technical factors in proportion to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation.
- Prepares and/or administers contrast media, i.e., orally, IV, rectally.
- Checks patient charts for lab results and allergies prior to the administration of IV contrast.
- Provides radiation protection to patient, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited educational program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine technology (Required).
- Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification (Required).
- ARRT (CT) certification (Required within 24 months of hire).
- ARRT (Rad Tech) certification (Required).
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.

Pay
$15,000 sign-on bonus eligible.
Schedule
- Every weekend: Londonderry - 8am-8pm (opposite weekend).
- Bedford: 6am-4pm every Monday, 7am-4:30pm.
