About the role

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, capturing high-quality diagnostic images, and reviewing images for clarity while ensuring patient safety and providing radiation protection.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Capture and review high-quality diagnostic images for clarity.
• Ensure patient safety and provide radiation protection.
• Accurately document procedures and findings.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast media under physician guidance.
• Maintain imaging equipment and records.
• Serve as a lead and resource within the team.
• Assist in training staff and support quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT(R) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree.
