Multimedia Journalist (MMJ)

Sinclair Broadcast Group station KFDM is seeking a Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ).

About the role

You will report, shoot, and edit news stories; enterprise story ideas; and develop contacts. Daily content production is required across television, the internet, and social networking sites.

Responsibilities

• Produce daily news content for multiple platforms (TV, web, social media)
• Report, shoot, and edit news stories
• Enterprise original story ideas
• Develop and maintain sources
• Perform live shots
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years reporting experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience with live shots (required)
• Experience with Live-U (preferred)

• Sharp news judgment
• Ability to tell compelling visual stories
• Strong technical skills
• Ability to work independently
