Multimedia Journalist (MMJ)

Job Summary

KCFW is seeking a Multi-Media Journalist to join their newsroom. The ideal candidate is a storyteller who covers the communities they serve, reporting, shooting, writing, and editing their own stories.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot, write, and edit compelling daily content for television, digital platforms, and social media
• Develop strong local sources and bring impactful journalism to KCFW viewers
• Work independently and thrive in the field
• Communicate effectively and build community connections

Requirements

• Reporting experience preferred
• Experience performing live shots preferred
• Experience using LiveU or similar live transmission technology is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
